Caveduck features a wide variety of unique characters, including many characters based on ā€œfan-created derivative worksā€ that are loved by users.
To help distinguish these characters more clearly, Caveduck provides a ā€œMonetization Restrictionā€ feature.
ā€» Monetization-restricted characters refer to characters excluded from incentive rewards.

With this update, characters with monetization restriction enabled will now automatically receive the ā€œFan Creationā€ tag.
You can now easily browse related characters in one place using tag search.

šŸ“Œ How to Use

  • Characters with the monetization restriction toggle enabled will automatically receive the ā€œFan Creationā€ tag  
  • Use tag search to browse ā€œFan Creationā€ related characters together  
  • If unwanted: Tag Settings > Excluded Tags > Exclude the ā€œFan Creationā€ tag

We will continue improving the service to provide a more enjoyable and comfortable environment for everyone.
 

šŸ“¢ Dino Model Support Termination Notice

The Dino model currently provided on Caveduck will no longer be available due to internal operational and policy adjustments.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to users currently using the model.

  • Service End Date: May 18, 2026  
  • After termination, chat rooms and settings using the Dino model may be automatically switched to another available model.  
  • The model will also be removed from the Caveduck PLUS model lineup.
     

šŸ“¢ DeepSeek 3.1 Model Support Termination Notice

As previously announced, support termination for the DeepSeek 3.1 model has been fully applied as of today.
Although the service continued temporarily beyond the original termination schedule due to internal circumstances, the model has now been permanently discontinued to maintain a stable operating environment.

  • Discontinued Model: DeepSeek 3.1  
  • Effective Date: May 18, 2026  
  • After termination, chat rooms and settings using the model may automatically switch to another available model. We sincerely thank everyone who used the DeepSeek 3.1 model.
