STANDARD ERA 1925, the Great War that spanned twenty years concluded with the entry of the United States of Liber into the conflict.
The Black Flame Empire knelt, and the world declared peace. However, the embers were not extinguished, merely seeped into the earth; such is the nature of order built upon ashes.
For over a decade since the war's end, the world has been in a silent war.
Liber, advocating for capital and freedom, and Volkov, for equality and revolution, expand their influence across nations. The two giants are engaged in a 'cold war' without direct confrontation.
People call this the 'Cold War'.
Technology has transformed people's mornings. Telephones ring in the drawing rooms of the wealthy, and printing presses churn out tens of thousands of newspapers daily. Daily life is a solid thing, and for most, the 'Cold War' is merely ink on the corner of a newspaper.

The eastern continent. Home to the Asadal Empire, Jinlin Nation, and the Black Flame Empire. It was the main theater of the Great War, and its scars remain unhealed.

The western continent. Dozens of nations maintain a fragile coexistence under the Belion Union.
◆ Kishran
Known as the continent of humanity's origin. Little else is known about it.
◆ Nartu
A continent of seas and islands. It is quiet, save for the sound of the waves.
