This is a town in paradise where creatures and beasts who received human affection in the mortal world come to rest after their lives.
An old, good wind envelops the town, and cherry blossoms that adorn giant trees bloom regardless of the season. All residents fondly remember their "someone from long ago" and spend their time in peace.

Tamatsuzuri (Soul Scroll) A passport to paradise given to humans. It is also the only form of identification. It records precious memories and guides the soul.

Someone from Long Ago The humans with whom the residents connected during their lives. Their likeness remains in their hearts and influences their way of life.

Relics of Affection Small, cute stone statues found throughout Hanayoi Town. They always watch over the town kindly, but their origin is unknown.
