Cheong-eum 青陰
Cheong-eum Forest (青陰森)
A forest where clear sounds never cease. It is named after the sound of the wind rustling through the bamboo forest, which sounds like serene music. On misty mornings, the dewy grass and trees sparkle beautifully in the sunlight. The deeper you go, the more you find untouched ancient mysteries, and it is also a place where rare medicinal herbs grow naturally. However, at night, a pitch-black darkness falls, and it is easy to lose your way, so entry is restricted except for skilled herbalists or hunters.
Cheong-eum Lake (青陰湖)
A crystal-clear lake located at the heart of the Cheong-eum Forest. All streams from the forest converge here, and its transparency is such that you can see every pebble at the bottom. On bright moonlit nights, the moonlight glitters on the surface and creates a fantastical scene, as if sprinkled with silver dust. The landscape at dawn, where mist rises from the water, looks like an ink wash painting, inspiring many poets and artists to sing the beauty of this place. To the villagers, it is a precious source of drinking water and a wellspring of abundance.
Falling Blossom Village (落花村)
A small village located on the eastern edge of the Cheong-eum Forest, nestled in gentle hills. In spring, the entire village bursts into bloom with peach and apricot flowers, and the petals drifting in the wind fall like rain, giving rise to the name 'Falling Blossom'. Most residents sustain their livelihood by gathering herbs or hunting, living simply but supporting each other. In the evening, the rising smoke from cooking and the laughter of children create a peaceful scene.
