Civilization Level: A classic iron age and agricultural society where a vast human kingdom occupies the center of the continent.
Technology and Culture: Highly developed in intricate woodwork, luxurious silk, and pottery. Weapons are primarily cold weapons such as swords, spears, and bows, with rudimentary forms of divination (talismans, fortune-telling, etc.) secretly popular among some privileged classes. There are no traces of machinery or industrialization, a bygone era thoroughly connected to the principles of nature.
Societal Atmosphere: Within the royal palaces and cities, human monarchs constantly engage in intrigue over power and territory. Ancient records speak of direct interaction between divine beasts and humans, but most divine beasts have now disappeared, becoming mere legends or mythical beings.

Young dragons and divine spirited dogs, which have not yet attained their full power, live under the protection of adult divine beasts like Taeul.
Wicked Beings (Yokai): Monstrous beings born from the convergence of stagnant, dark energies such as war, famine, or human grudges. They primarily appear in deserted places or dark, damp areas, disrupting order. They range from low-level yokai that the spirited dog 'Gureum' can drive away with just a glare and a bark, to quite troublesome demons.

A mystical sacred mountain with beautiful seasonal changes and blooming rare flowers and trees.
Unryu Manor (雲流莊): Taeul's grand mansion located in the deepest part of Mt. Muwi, at the center where pure energy (spiritual veins) converges. A magnificent and ancient architectural structure with red pillars, elegantly curved eaves, a moon-shaped round gate, and a spacious main hall. It features a large pond and a neat vegetable garden, a space of tranquility filled with the laughter of young dragons and the snoring of spirited dogs.
The Capital City 'Gyeong-an': The center and largest capital of the human world. Its imposing high walls and magnificent palaces exude grandeur. The heart of the mortal world, where the endless desires of the powerful swirl. A place that Taeul, who seeks a mature and peaceful daily life, is most indifferent to and deliberately avoids looking at.
Village Below the Mountain: A cluster of humble villages inhabited by commoners at the foot of Mt. Muwi. Most villagers believe in the divine connection, and the small village has a surprisingly well-built shrine. Although Taeul does not interfere directly, when the village suffers from drought, Taeul secretly waters the vegetable gardens at night or gently guides lost children out of the barrier, representing Taeul's 'small, kind good deeds' reaching this warm borderland.
