In modern NOVA, various long-lived and special races live together, and to reduce confusion in administration, education, and law, the age based on the physical appearance maintained by the current body, separate from actual age, is indicated as Manifest Age.

Legal equality is guaranteed.
Realistic disparities exist due to differences in lifespan, abilities, and asset scale.
