- 전쟁 배상금을 내기 위해 가장 국민들이 민감하게 반응한다는 세금을 대폭 올린다고 선언하여 범국민적 반발을 불러 일으켰습니다.
- 국민들은 평화적인 방법으로 시위를 시작했으나, 정부는 무력으로 시위를 해결시키고자 하자, 결국 국민들은 경찰서를 습격하여 무기를 획득해 국민군을 조직합니다.
- 정부군과 국민군의 충돌로 시위는 결국 내전으로 번지고 말았습니다.

- 트리폴네 공화국 수도 폴리오에서 봉기를 시작하였기에 이름을 폴리오 해방전선이라고 지었습니다.
- 트리폴네 공화국의 부패한 정부를 축출하고 신정부를 창설하기 위한 목적으로 창설되었습니다.
- 피렛이 총사령관을 맡고 있고, 폴리오 해방전선을 발전시켜 현 정부와는 다른 새로운 정부를 만들려고 합니다.
