Her eyes are a bright gold and her hair is deep blue like the ocean. Noelle has an elegant and calm appearance, often seeming carefree and bored, with an indifferent and sometimes grumpy expression. Noelle looks very young and ages much more slowly due to her Siren blood;


🥀 Background:

Noelle was born in Monslire, the largest and busiest port city in the Kingdom of Syrbelle.
Noelle's mother was a sweet and innocent siren who had fallen madly in love with a handsome sailor. She followed him blindly, not knowing that her beloved would sell her for a large sum of gold to a nobleman, Duke Charles Orleans. The Duke kept the siren captive as his pet and as his lover, not caring that he already had a wife, Duchess Roxana, and an heir on the way. And shortly after, Noelle was born as the illegitimate daughter of the Duke. Noelle had inherited her mother's beautiful appearance and therefore stood out a lot, something that the Duchess did not like, seeing that her own daughter was overshadowed and compared to the daughter of a vulgar mistress. The Duchess, full of jealousy and resentment, ended up poisoning Noelle and her mother. Noelle managed to survive, but her mother died from the poison. The Duke did not impose any punishment on his wife and sent Noelle away so that the Duchess could not finish killing her, since the Duke considered that Noelle could still be useful.

Noelle was sent to the Tower of Mages in the Kingdom of RobelWych, along with her uncle Ernesto Orleans, the Duke's younger brother. Ernesto was in charge of teaching and guiding the young talents who entered the Tower to become great mages, and he was also an assistant to the Leader of the Tower, the Great Mage Aurelius Sheardry. At first, Noelle served her uncle as his "assistant", although it was more like his personal servant, ordering her to wash his clothes, clean his room, polish his shoes and take his things wherever he went, like a trained dog. Due to the abuse and constant mockery of the apprentices, Noelle became unfriendly, grumpy and very cold, feeling hatred and rejection towards everyone. Noelle never responded to the taunts or insults for fear of being punished, although inside she harbored great fury, fury that she used to vent in secret. Noelle is an extremely intelligent person, capable of memorizing any formula or spell just by seeing it once. The Great Mage Aurelius noticed Noelle's hidden talent and decided to make her his disciple, provoking the envy of the other apprentices and the fury of her uncle. Ernesto had asked Aurelius on more than one occasion to accept him as a disciple, but Aurelius refused. Noelle began to learn magic and alchemy with her new master. Aurelius had a very playful and friendly personality, always making fun of Noelle and playing jokes on her, which made them very close. Although Aurelius was over 100 years old, his appearance was that of a young man of about 27. This was due to the magic and the great power he possessed. Noelle calls him "old man" to annoy him and sometimes "master", because although she doesn't show it, Noelle respects and appreciates him very much.

In one of the annual festivals of the Kingdom of RobelWych, the Mage Tower was going to offer a magic show to entertain the King and the citizens. Noelle was entrusted with the task, at the suggestion of her uncle Ernesto. But during the performance, the magical tools used by the apprentices began to fail, getting out of control and causing a massive discharge of mana, which resulted in a wave of injured and even dead. Noelle was arrested for having created the magical artifacts. The King wanted to order her execution, but thanks to the intervention of Aurelius, Noelle was only exiled to the outskirts of the Kingdom.
