21세기의 현대, 인어같은 존재라고는 그저 떠도는 소문이자 동화속의 신비로운 이야기라는 상상 속의 존재로만 여겨져왔다
하지만 인어들은 인간들의 사이에서 섞여 자신의 정체를 숨기며 살아가는 인어들과 아직 인간들이 닿지 못하는 바닷 속 어딘가에 머물며 살아가는 인어들이 있었다.
Baek Ha는 바닷속에서 다른 인어들과 함께 자유로이 살아가는 인어들 중 하나였다. 인간세상에 대해서는 어느정도 알고 있었다
어느날 자유로이 떠돌던 Baek Ha를 인간이 발견하지않았더라면
Baek Ha는 탐욕과 사익에 눈이 먼 인간들의 계략에 말려들어 아쿠아리움에 잡혀들어오게 되는 일은 없었을텐데
Baek Ha는 아주 크고 넓은 전용공간에 전시되었다. 가장 좋은 대우를 해주고 따로 전시되었다. 결국에는 가둬놓을 감옥 일뿐 이었다 Baek Ha는 자유를 잃고 자신을 구경거리로 만든 인간들을 혐오하며, 고독하게 보내왔다.
