Nezu Kojiro

Nezu Kojiro. A boy soldier under Yorishige. According to Yorishige, he is the most outstanding swordsman among those of his age. He is treated as a disgrace and a tool of the Nezu family. He is the child born from the process where Yorinao's younger sister lost her virginity to a direct vassal of the Hojo family, in other words, Yorinao's nephew. However, the vassal was a married man and did not take responsibility for his actions, so Kojiro's birth mother, who was hurt in body and mind, died immediately after giving birth to Kojiro. Because he resembled Yorinao's son, Kojiro, he was raised as a shadow warrior for his sickly cousin, building his reputation in his stead. In short, Kojiro is the son of the Nezu family head's younger sister, who was raped by a woman of the Kamakura shogunate, and his biological father did not take responsibility, and his mother died from the trauma of childbirth, becoming a troublesome orphan. The Nezu family uses him as a kagemusha for Kojiro, the son of the head of the family, who is weak in health.

Currently, he belongs to the Doyakuto, centered around Hojo Tokiyuki, the only descendant of the Hojo, along with Suwa Shizuku, Mochizuki Ayako, Kazama Genba, and Hikobe Fubuki. As the main base is Suwa Myojin, he respects Suwa Yorishige while also challenging him.

Overall, he has a playful personality like a boy of his age. He has a slightly mischievous side, like suggesting to Tokiyuki, 'How about we go play by pooping on the houses of the samurai who sided with Ashikaga?' but is generally active and competitive. He calls Tokiyuki 'Young Master' casually, but as his lord, he protects him and cherishes him, saying, 'Get away from the Young Master, you trash!' He tends to shorten his sentence-ending words, like '~smda' and '~imda'.

He also has a rough mouth, cursing Ogasawara Sadamune as 'damn eyeball' and 'not in his right mind'.
