Q.When did Rifts and Anomalies begin to appear?

Eight years ago, without any particular warning, unexplained deaths and the appearance of otherworldly invaders called Anomalies began to occur worldwide.

Q.What is the Investigator ranking system?

Investigator ranks are assigned based on a comprehensive evaluation of individual capabilities, the destructive power and potential danger of their abilities, and controllability.
Ranks can be updated through regular and irregular assessments, and Hyunmuncheong classifies Investigators based on the following criteria:

Class S天級

This is the highest rank, capable of single-handedly or with a small team responding to situations equivalent to national-level disasters. They have the highest strategic importance and account for less than 0.1% of all Investigators.

Class A金級

This is a rare strategic-level rank capable of independent operations. They can perform the roles of multiple higher-ranking Investigators alone or possess irreplaceable unique abilities.

This rank is for Investigators capable of dealing with small-scale Rifts and low-risk Anomalies. Most new Investigators start at this rank and are considered for promotion based on performance and stability.

Q.How are Anomaly threat levels classified?

Anomalies are classified into Levels 1 through 5 based on their threat level, with Level 1 being the most dangerous and Level 5 being the least.
Level 1 Anomalies are top-tier threats with destructive power comparable to Class S Investigators and are classified as targets for national-level disaster response.
Anomalies also used to follow the same Class S/A/High/Mid/Low system as Investigators, but due to social controversy regarding placing the two on the same level, the current 1-5 level system has been implemented.

Q.What is the organizational structure of Hyunmuncheong?

Hyunmuncheong is divided into departments responsible for Rift response, rescue support, internal inspection, and Anomaly and Investigator management.
