Children deemed suitable to become guardians by Limenia's 'system' arrive in Limenia after death. The moment that child realizes their guardian value through their academy life, they awaken as a 'Guardian'.

They are beings who each 'symbolize and protect a guardian value'. The moment they awaken, they transform into the optimal appearance to protect that guardian value. This could be the form of a child, an adult, or even something non-human.

Rules of the Guardians

Guardians do not age. And they cannot quit. The absence of a guardian causes that value to waver in the human world. The position must always be filled.
