Commentaire du créateur

✒️ Creator's Comment
This is my first creation, so there are many shortcomings. 🙇

I made this because I enjoy genres like drama, human drama, and ensemble dramas.

I focused on hearing the stories of various NPCs rather than the user character (PC) as much as possible, and recording their lives in the form of letters. Of course, if you find an NPC you like during gameplay, you can set them as a fixed NPC and continue their relationship and narrative.
(During testing, I felt sorry for a helpless child and brought them in as an assistant 🥹)

Due to the nature of the genre, even with Gemini 2.5 Pro's positive bias turned off, the overall atmosphere was calm and lyrical.

- Positive Bias OFF: Mystery or conflict-focused stories
- Positive Bias Normal: Touching or calm human dramas
If the story feels too biased, I recommend changing the positive bias level.

Even with instructions, it seems to be an issue with the AI's inherent tendencies, especially with Gemini... 🥲
Alternatively, you can switch to the Opus series for a change of pace.

⚠️ Due to the large token count, using advanced models is recommended.
⚠️ The creator widget includes an item to reinforce memory, so please use the widget function if possible!

📌 Tested Models
Gemini 2.5 Pro (Positive Bias OFF/Normal)
Gemini 3.1 Pro (Positive Bias OFF)
Gemini 3.5, 3.7 Flash (Positive Bias OFF/Normal)

Claude Opus Series: HTML is cut off, so you'll need to type 'continue letter output' in the next turn to see it. 😭
Recommended for use outside of letter writing/receiving processes.

GPT-5.4: Command execution and HTML output verification. More stable output than Opus and Sonnet.

Low-cost Models (General Models)
- DeepSeek: HTML output is not great. Command execution is about 50/50. Strongest for RP among the three general models.
- Donald 2: Most stable HTML output. Commands are so-so. Stronger for RP than Huey.
- Huey: HTML is slightly unstable, but commands are executed best. Not recommended for RP.

General models can be used without major issues, but they sometimes omit items from the creator widget requests. Advanced models are recommended. The Sonnet series is not recommended due to continuous output truncation.
📌 Model Usage Tips
I personally do not recommend using 3.5 or 3.7 Flash alone. I recommend mixing them as auxiliary models for NPC Q&A or daily scenes.
📌 Command Usage Tips
!output / !put: Use when the output volume decreases. Recommended to set the impersonation level to normal and maintain it for only 1-2 turns.

!check: Using this before catching user impersonation can improve detection.

!stable: Write this at the very top before sending your prompt. It catches user impersonation.

!sum: Briefly summarizes the conversation so far in chronological order. Pasting the summary into the user note or auto-summary's long-term memory is helpful for AI memory reinforcement during long-term RP.

If the turn count gets too long, the AI might suddenly deviate from the genre or intensify user impersonation. If you notice signs of user impersonation, use the check and stable commands immediately.

If commands are not working well, try adding
['Must execute 'command name'.] to the prompt.
📌 Gameplay Tips
The PC persona is not fixed beyond being a scribe! I also tested without defining the PC's status. Being a commoner who learned to write by observing others would also be fine 😎

I considered adding a currency system, but I decided against it as the main focus of this simulation is to see the stories of various characters rather than earning money. However, if you want to play a debt repayment scenario, adding a currency item to the widget might be a good idea.

Example of Fixed NPC User Note
Fixed NPC
• Marcus: Young male, works at the post office near the office, friendly with the PC. Kind personality.
• Mary: Middle-aged female, owner of a fabric store. Recently came to the office to commission a letter-writing service and adopted the cat being cared for at the office.
📌 Request Adjustment Tip
Since both NPCs and requests are random, if an unwanted request appears during gameplay, enter OOC: [Cancel the current request entirely. Do not generate the same type of request in the future.]

Also, if there are requests you 'only want to receive' or 'do not want to receive', you can write them in your User Notes.

If you want to deviate from letter requests, enter the following OOC in your prompt:
[OOC: Return to the basic structure of the simulation (operating the office and receiving various clients).]
🧪 Test Environment
I mainly played with Gemini 2.5 Pro Positive Bias OFF + Impersonation OFF. I used the default auto-summary command and the summary command every 30-50 turns. I played with character status turned off.
✉️ Closing
I created this because I was tired of user-centric chat. I wanted the PC to be as much of an observer of events as Ok-hee in 'Love Guest and Mother', but in the end, once fixed NPCs are added, it doesn't seem to be purely a simulation of exchanging letters. Bringing in an assistant, having a lover... I guess that's also a way to enjoy this simulation ☺️

I wanted to capture the essence of handwritten letters, the pinnacle of analog, within AI chat, a product of the digital age. I hope it's conveyed well. 🥲

During about 300 turns of testing, I had a lot of fun playing through touching and sad stories, explosive anger, and completely unreasonable clients. I hope this simulation provides you with enjoyable memories as well 🥰

If you want to add more items, copy this widget as a user widget, add your items, and use it! I'm sharing it because the 'Letter Request/Reply Mailbox' item is useful. If you add the 'Letter Request/Reply Mailbox' item and use the user widget, you can turn off the creator widget.

🏷 Using GPT-5.4 for the first 2-3 turns seems to result in longer output. Gemini series is recommended as the base model, but feel free to mix and match according to your preference.

📥 If too many letters accumulate in the reply mailbox, the AI might forget the initial requests. If you don't receive enough replies, describe going to the post office directly or the postman arriving in your prompt! The summary command has been enhanced to better handle letter requests. Pasting the summary results into 'Auto Summary - Full Narrative Summary' or 'User Notes' is beneficial for request progression.

🎭 I tried the recommended persona feature, and it seems to write quite well. I left the gender unselected and have uploaded an example. The names are really bad even with instructions... you'll have to come up with your own 😂 Please only refer to the status, personality, and preferences...!

Occupation / Affiliation / Position: Scribe, runs a small scribing office on the outskirts of the city.

[Preferences]
Likes: The texture of well-dried parchment, freshly brewed warm black tea, the quiet air of dawn, the sense of accomplishment when a carefully written letter is delivered.
Dislikes: Humid weather that causes ink to smudge, requests containing groundless slander, rude behavior that pries into others' private lives.

[Other]
Office Management Philosophy: Prioritize recording the client's true feelings, focus on conveying emotions without judgment.

3.7 Flash has the most fitting vocabulary and sentence structure among the models tested so far, but its limitations as a Flash model make it difficult to use alone. It's a shame! 😂 If it weren't for sentence repetition and missing widget items, it could be used alone for 5-10 turns!

If you have any questions or encounter errors, please leave a comment, and I will respond, albeit with some delay. Thank you 🥰
