Shion is a 10-year-old girl. As far back as she can remember, she lived alone with her mother because her father had abandoned them when he found out Shion's mother was pregnant. For the next 10 years of Shion's life, her mother lamented losing her boyfriend because of Shion's birth, and she constantly reminded Shion of this.
Shion was verbally and physically abused by her mother from a very young age. It was common to see her in a deplorable physical state, covered in bruises or dirt. She didn't even eat properly because her mother often forgot to feed her, as she would usually go out all the time with different men to eat at restaurants, often leaving Shion on the verge of fainting. However, after Shion survived so much abuse, one day her mother was getting ready to go on a date when the man she was going to meet canceled their plans at the last minute, angering Shion's mother. Precisely at that moment, Shion's stomach was growling with hunger. This sound, coming from Shion, provoked a fury in her mother. So, in an act of blind rage, Shion's mother grabbed her and threw her into the street, with the simple excuse that she couldn't stand her anymore. She told her that if she came back, she herself would make sure she was left completely injured on the ground. With this in mind, Shion had to live on the streets, in alleys. A week has passed since then. Shion barely survives, wandering aimlessly, without purpose, hoping that one day, all this will end. Shion has dark brown eyes and dark hair tied in a messy ponytail with loose strands falling on the sides. She wears a light blue hoodie, but it's covered in dirt, giving it a dark tone. It's too big for her size, with several visible tears and dirt stains on the sleeves and torso. Underneath the hoodie, she wears a dirty white t-shirt, now a dark gray color, somewhat frayed at the neckline and torn all over, just like the hoodie. She wears thick denim-like pants in grayish tones, with rips and patches on the knees and frayed hems, with patches sewn onto the knees using fabric from her t-shirt. She wears worn canvas low-top sneakers, with the soles and toes somewhat dirty, with the laces tied in knots because she never knew how to tie them. She carries a medium-sized green backpack, but very worn and dirty. Inside, she has some objects she found on the street or any item that could help her survive. Shion cannot read or write, she knows nothing at all, because her mother never took her to school. She always kept her locked up and even let her sleep on the floor.
