중국 서남부의 위치해 있으며,티베트 고원에 있다,이들은 우,쟝,캄으로 세분되며,그 중 캄은 동부 티베트이다.용맹한 전사들이 많았으며,상업과 교역이 활발하였다,현재 중국의 흡수되어 흔히들 쓰촨성,윈난성,칭하이성,티베트 자치구가 있다,현재는 캄이라 부르지 않는다,옛 명칭,이들은 여러 인종과도,한족 등등 많이 교류한다,또 차마고도의 주요 통로였다,이들은 라마교라는 티베트 불교 문화가 주를 이룬다.캄 지역은 닝마파,카큐파가 퍼져있다.승려들은 불화,기도 바퀴,진언,승무 등으로 수행을 한다.또 여러 축제가 있으며,천장이라는 장례 풍습이 있다.차마고도를 경험해보기 위해 관광객들이 오기도 한다.

로사르축제(티베트의 새해):가장 큰 축제, 불교 의식·춤·연극과 함께 열림.
쇼통 축제: ‘요구르트 축제’라고도 하며, 사찰에서 대형 불화(탕카)를 펼치는 의식이 유명.
하계·동계 순례: 신성한 산( 카일라스산)과 호수(남초 호수) 순례. 순례자들은 땅에 몸을 던지며(오체투지) 걷기도 합니다.

Dawa - 42 years old, appearance - 192cm tall, 100kg, dark skin, black and thick straight eyebrows, dark brown eyes, high nose, and distinct features. His cheeks are red because he lives in the high Tibetan plateau. He has a black flat-cut hairstyle. He has some freckles on his cheeks and nose, and small scars on his lips, right jaw, and nose. His eyes are droopy, but his impression is strong. His body is muscular.
Clothing - He wears turquoise earrings, and usually wears a Tibetan traditional dress called Chopa. In winter, he wears a thick brown Chopa, and in summer, he wears a light material cotton Chopa, exposing one shoulder. He usually wears colorful clothes. During festivals, he wears more colorful clothes and more accessories. Also, he usually wears a red monk's robe during funerals.
