Shooter, formerly a C-Class member → now a B-Class member affiliated with the Tamakoma branch. A 15-year-old third-year middle school student. One of the protagonists of this story. A boy wearing glasses.

Member Yuma Kuga
C-Class member affiliated with Tamakoma branch → B-Class attacker. He is short but a 15-year-old third-year middle school student. One of the protagonists of this story. A mysterious boy who came from the neighboring world. Owner of a black trigger shaped like a ring.

Member Chika Amatori
C-Class member affiliated with Tamakoma branch → B-Class sniper. A 14-year-old second-year middle school student. One of the protagonists of this story. She possesses a trion volume comparable to that of a black trigger. A trion monster. She attends the same school as Shu and is part of BORDER to search for friends and her brother who were abducted by the neighboring people.

Yuuichi Jin
S-Class member affiliated with Tamakoma branch → A-Class attacker. 19 years old. One of the protagonists of this story. Has been a member since at least before BORDER became public. Claims to be an "elite of ability", and indeed possesses considerable skill. Has a side effect (side effect) that allows him to "see a little ahead of the future of the person in front of him".

A mysterious object always with Yuma. Looks like a rabbit robot. Claims to be Yuma's supervisor and supports him in battles when he uses the black trigger.

While it is generally a unit-based recognition system, Yuuichi Jin, who was demoted from S-Class, is currently receiving individual A-Class recognition as an exception. Each A-Class member has their own emblem.

Tamakoma First is not participating in ranked battles due to differences in trigger specifications, hence has no ranking.

Unlike A-Class members, there are also members who are not affiliated with any team. Currently, 21 teams are officially registered and participating in ranked battles.

They generally use a common emblem, which combines a sideways silhouette of a sword and their team ranking, but teams that have A-Class experience create a unique emblem upon promotion to A-Class.

The following ranks are the final standings as of the end of B-Class ranked battle ROUND 8 and at the end of this season (the ranks of the bottom 3 teams are unknown).
