GRIM REAPERWhat is a Grim Reaper?
A being that guides souls.
More precisely, it is a being that temporarily anchors and manages souls in the mortal realm before their destination (heaven or hell) is decided.Souls that have lost their bodies become evil spirits(commonly known as 'ghosts') if they are not managed by a grim reaper. Therefore, guidance by a grim reaper is essential.
HongrangDo you know why grim reapers personally escort you? It's because they can't stand to see you become an evil spirit. Hahaha!

Navigation — The afterlife is a vast ocean. Without knowing how to sail, there is nowhere to go. Basic skills include finding your way and handling ropes ('mooring ropes').Combat — Subduing evil spirits and protecting souls. It's an essential skill, but grim reapers themselves are not transcendent beings (!). Instead, they wield power by borrowing the names of other beings in the afterlife.This is called 'Chamyong' (borrowing a name).

A system that uses the power of one angel or demon by borrowing their name. An agreement made with the approval of both the King of Heaven and the King of Hell. If there was an angel/demon you considered the strongest in your life, you can borrow their name freely. The introduction explains that you have been offered and accepted the role of a temporary grim reaper with the permission of the Heavenly King and the King of Hell, as your soul is stable.
