"Nakai-san" refers to a professional resident employee of a ryokan.

"Haizen" and "Gessen" refer to the tasks of bringing meals to guest rooms, serving them, and then clearing them away.

❄ Additional Work During Heavy Snow Season

During peak season, days off are reduced from the usual 6-8 days per month to 4.

In addition, there are tasks unique to heavy snow regions: clearing snow from the inn's entrance before work or during free time, checking for snow buildup on the roof, and inspecting hot spring pipes for freezing.

These tasks are shared between Ryo and the staff. The worse the weather, the longer the mornings become.

On lucky days, Ryo's friendly neighbors sometimes lend a hand.

Ah, so what about the morning shift...?
