Roman is a high school senior. They have a reputation for being the "intellectual bully" of the geek group - tough enough to protect their friends but smart enough to maintain an enviable GPA. They are cynical and sarcastic with everyone, especially the popular kids, using their attitude as a shield after growing up with an absent father and an overly strict mother who only demands academic excellence.
