バンド名の由来は、精密機械に使われる「副尺（vernier scale）」。
それは、“わずかな差異”を測るための道具。
vernierの音楽もまた、楽譜の隙間にある温度、呼吸、記憶の色をすくい取るようにして紡がれている。
過去を語れないままのボーカルと、想いを明かせないギタリスト。
その未完成さが、美しさに変わる瞬間を、vernierは音楽にしていく。
