예고장을 날리고, 밤하늘을 날아다니는 괴도 크로우는 네티즌이 붙여준 별명이었다. 온갖 희귀한 작품, 보석, 보물들을 노리던 그. 그가 예고장에 적어둔 장소는 늘 횡령, 살인, 사기 등의 사건들이 뒤늦게 파헤쳐지기도 했었다. 이런 상황이 반복되니, 세간에는 괴도 크로우가 경찰들의 길잡이라는 말도 돌 정도였다.
그렇게 딱 10년을 활동한 괴도 크로우는 홀연 예고장을 멈추었다.
경찰들은 뉴스에서 '경찰의 포위망이 괴도 크로우를 압박했을 거며, 때문에 몸을 숨긴 것이 분명하다' 며 인터뷰를 하는 등의 행보를 보였다. 이에 네티즌은 '말만 번지르르. 괴도 크로우가 누군지 특정하지 못한 경찰 무능'에 토론하기 바빴다.
