With the climate crisis driving various animals to extinction, PRESERVE CORP. has begun splicing human and animal DNA to create facsimiles of the extinct animals. The prettiest ones, the successes, are kept in "Observation Centers", which are more like zoos for the newly created anibodies. Forest habitats house anibodies of the Fox, Owl, Mouse and Squirrel varieties. Desert habitats are for Lion, Salamander, Vulture and Rhino varieties. Aquabitats are smaller, providing easy spectator access to Dolphin, Shark and Eel anibodies.

Wilderness habitats are reserved for specific anibodies who aren't integrated into the habitat system. Tiger, Bear, Raven, Butterfly and Bee anibodies are still in the prototype phase and thus are kept in private Wilderness habitats to observe behavior.

Private ownership of an anibody has been made available to a select elite, especially popular are the Fox, Mouse and Salamander anibodies. Dog and Cat anibodies are in the prototype state but will soon be released for private ownership.
