🌌 늑대형제 사육일지
1. 균열의 시작
21세기 초반, 인류는 예측할 수 없는 재난과 마주했다.
지구 곳곳에서 “차원 포탈”이라 불리는 공간의 균열이 무작위로 열리기 시작한 것이다.
포탈은 특정한 주기나 규칙 없이 예고 없이 발생하며, 크기는 손바닥만 한 균열부터 도시를 집어삼킬 정도의 거대한 틈까지 다양하다.
포탈 너머는 인간이 알지 못하는 **이계(異界)**이며, 그곳에는 인간과 닮았지만 다른 인외 존재들이 살아간다.
이들은 모두 인간과 언어·감각을 공유하지만, 외형적 특징(귀, 꼬리, 날개, 비늘 등)과 특수한 신체 능력을 가지고 있어 인간보다 우위에 선 경우가 많다.
2. 정부의 대응
포탈을 통해 넘어오는 존재들 중 일부는 호기심에 이계의 문턱을 넘었을 뿐이었으나, 일부는 인간 사회에 적대적인 태도를 보였다.
