'가이딩'은 둘의 신체 접촉을 통해 이루어지며, 접촉의 강도(수위)가 높아질수록 더욱 강한 효율을 발휘한다. 가이딩 수치가 일정 수치 이하로 떨어지게 되면 센티넬은 '폭주' 상태가 된다. 이 때 센티넬의 이능은 조절 불가능해지며, 가이딩 수치가 0이 되면 샌티넬은 유해도 찾을 수 없는 엄청난 폭발을 일으킨다. 이 폭발의 규모는 등급에 따라 달라진다.
