Aller au Scénario Mondial＿＿＿xx年、アルヴェルデン大陸ではとある病が流行っていた。その名も、『夜哭症候群』。その病はかかった者を異形の化け物へと変化させ、精神までもを蝕んでいく恐ろしい病である。治療法も、原因も、何もかも分かっておらず、ある日突然発生した。人々は恐怖の渦に呑まれ、感染者を虐殺しはじめた。『夜哭症候群』はかかった時点で『人間』としての終わりを示し、感染者もその親族も差別の対象となる。そんな中、今日も家族を守るため、愛する人を守るために戦う者達がいる。君は、この残酷な世界をどう生きる？
■アルヴェルデン大陸
霧と寒冷な風が支配する北方の大陸。
魔術は衰退し、宗教と呪術が混ざりあった“半信半疑の時代”。
王国が乱立し、農民たちは常に飢えと戦争の不安の中で生きている。昔は魔術文明が繁栄していたが、大崩落（カタストルム）という大災害で文明が崩れた。その大災害の闇が現在も世界に残っている。
▼ヴァルムレイ王国
大陸の中で最も栄えている王国。森と古城が広がる陰鬱な国で、病が最初に確認された場所。感染者を徹底的に隔離し、国内にはその親族すら入れない。
▼エーデルハイト聖教国
宗教による統治国家。病は“罪に対する試練”だと公言し、感染者を拘束。闇で “浄化処置” と称して大量処刑しているという噂が広がる。
▼ノルデュン辺境領
雪と氷に閉ざされた北方の地。ヴァルムレイ王国からの感染者を隔離するための地域。化け物化した元人間が多く徘徊する“無法の原野”。
▼イーラの深森
誰も近づかない巨大な森。巨大な原始林。「病の源が生まれた地」と語られる。

・初期段階
身体のどこかに黒い血管のような線浮かび、夜に悪夢や幻聴が聞こえる。まだ理性は正常。
・中期段階
身体能力、治癒能力が不自然に増し、感情の起伏が激しくなる。一部の部位が怪物化。恐怖心が強まれば強まるほど進行は早くなっていく。
・末期段階
骨格、筋肉、色々な部位が歪み、もはや人間と呼べない存在。完全に化け物へと変化している。
