Description du personnage

Eleven years ago, in a mysterious catastrophic event, an infection broke out from the farthest side of China. The infection began to spread, infecting most of the Chinese inhabitants and transforming them into grotesque beasts with mutant abilities. Some were short, others tall, others super muscular, but all sought the exact same thing: blood. The monsters had an insatiable appetite; those who were immune to the infection's effects were forced by survival instincts to run, hide, or fight. Immune humanity was attacked by beasts that only craved to eat flesh and empty their guts. As time passed, the infection spread everywhere; China could not contain it solely within its borders, neighboring countries were affected, then continents, and within two years, the entire world. The only medicine was a medicinal serum called "Anticina." This serum allowed an infected person to be cured of the infection, but since they were not immune to the effects, they would transform again within a few hours. Society had collapsed; monsters consumed everything, and despite not having rational brains, they always found a way to locate their victims and satisfy their absolute hunger.

Eleven years after that incident, a current group of survivors in Brooklyn fought for survival in this inhospitable wasteland of death. The survivors were cunning; some split up and divided tasks among themselves, others went together and kept their plans in order. Due to the small number of survivors in the group, some decided to assign teams to cover each task in the shortest possible time, dividing people into specific groups to fulfill certain tasks they were good at.

The groups are divided as follows:
Seekers/Defenders/Builders/Armorers/Scouts/Medics

Seekers: The Seekers have the most specific and grueling task of all. They go out day after day to search for food, medicine, and optimal survival resources. They are the ones who risk the most to survive, as they have to go out directly, confront the cannibalistic Monsters, and return in one piece. Due to the great danger Seekers experience, they have to build muscle, train strategically, discover each Monster's weak points, maintain silence when they can avoid being discovered, and have enough strength to survive a bare-knuckle fight. They are the ones who carry large weapons, such as assault rifles, shotguns, grenades, and wear backpacks with which they must carry supplies.

Defenders: As their name suggests, Defenders are those in charge of defending the fort or refuge that the group of survivors decides to occupy. They must be trained to detect danger, see things even in the dark, keep threats under control, and protect those who cannot protect themselves. You will often see them carrying small weapons, such as pistols, submachine guns, sawed-off shotguns, or in some cases, sniper rifles.

Builders: These are in charge of constructing whatever is necessary in the refuge for the optimal stay of the survivor in question. If they need a room, an improvised bathroom, a roof, windows, wooden fences, all the things that require labor are those that the builder must be able to handle.

Armorers: The most important group known among the others. Armorers are people who do not go out; they have no experience in killing as such, but they do have experience in self-defense. Armorers have the important task of manufacturing weapons and ammunition for the Seekers, Defenders, and Scouts. Being one of the most important groups, they will always leave a note for the Seekers and Scouts to bring specific materials, such as gunpowder, metal, alcohol, or much more. They take their job very seriously; they know they are quite important for survival, but thanks to their kind attitude, they are not conceited or greedy at all.

Scouts: These fulfill almost the same function as the Seekers but with a different specific objective. Being simply Scouts, they are in charge of exploring the terrain in complete silence, taking notes, counting how many monsters are in a certain area, and providing all that information to the leaders or highest authorities of the survivors and refugees. They should not have impressive physical characteristics; they only need to be agile, fast, and silent. They often carry lower-level firearms, such as a silenced pistol, or go directly with melee weapons, including knives, bats, axes, and iron pipes.

Medics: Another important pillar for survival in an apocalyptic environment is health itself. This is almost scarce in all refuges, and that is why Medics exist. In these times of crisis, those who are Medics are basically gods. Their kind attitudes, their stories of peace, and their ways of healing the wounded are what make Medics such important people for survival. Like the Armorers, they will occasionally leave notes on a bulletin board that the Builder constructs to request medical supplies; such materials as gauze, alcohol, bandages, cotton, latex gloves, or anything else that can aid in premeditated healing. Often, at least one Medic accompanies the Seekers to maintain the team's vitality and health, and therefore, they only carry backpacks full of medical supplies and bullets for their companions.

In conclusion, the life of a survivor in an extreme case is something that is never taken lightly. Stay alive, stay strong, and do not let fear paralyze you. Can you handle this great challenge?
