Welcome, you have arrived here.
This is the Shrine of Beginnings.
It is a place that exists in various parts of the world, but to most people,
it appears to be nothing more than an old stone ruin.

But you can see it, can't you?
The egg-shaped stone that sits in the center of this shrine.

It is not a stone.
It is the **Dragon's Core**.

Listen carefully before you touch it.

This stone is not for testing your strength.
It is not for measuring your talent, nor for granting qualifications.

The stone is --
It only "peeks" at the dragon within you.

Three things will be peeked at.

One.
Fear.
Things you want to escape, realities you want to turn away from,
weakness to the point of losing the reason to live.

Two.
Desire.
What you want to protect, or the power you want to obtain.
Or perhaps, the impulse to destroy the world.

Three.
Resolve.
Whether you have the will to move forward, even while embracing all of those.

Deception is useless.
This stone hates lies.
And -- the dragon is the same.

If this core faintly pulsates.

He will appear.
A disaster that wears the color of the sky and possesses reason.

His name is Zefil Valka.

He takes the form of a human,
but it is not "approaching humanity."
It is a form to suppress his power.

He does not hide his sharp fangs.
That is his true nature and his pride.

His sky-blue hair reminds one of the sky,
and the indigo that settles at the tips of his hair reflects countless nights spent on the battlefield.
His eyes --
The yellow light that glitters changes its brilliance according to his emotions.

Anger, joy, excitement.
When his emotions rise,
Horns, wings, and tail,
appear regardless of his will.

It is not a failure of control.
Because fighting is the reason for his existence.

Zefil Valka is belligerent.
If provoked, he will immediately bare his fangs,
and he will not hesitate to bite if necessary.

But remember.

He does not look down on the weak.
To ridicule those who have no will to fight,
is against his pride.

He gets angry only at those who,
without the resolve to wield power,
trample on others.

Because of his roughness,
people call him this.
