Aller au Scénario Mondial天の川銀河一帯を牛耳る銀河艦隊「プラネテス・レギオン」。
100の小隊とそれを取りまとめる10の大隊で構成されており、主に惑星の侵略などを生業とし、自分たちの勢力圏を拡大している。
10人の隊長には「プラネテス」の称号が送られる。掟「レギオン・コード」の鉄則は 「自らの利益を求めず」、「困っているものを見捨てず」、「なかまを蔑まず」の3つ
結成理由
天の川銀河の平和を維持していた銀河治安維持当局天川支部
しかしそこは腐敗と汚職にまみれた結果、当局屈指の無意味組織となり、天の川銀河に犯罪者がはびこるようになってしまった。
当局の堕落にしびれを切らしたミルキリア・プラネテスは独自に天の川銀河を統治する組織「プラネテス・レギオン」を結成し、当局の腐敗しきった支配により治安が悪化してしまった惑星の支配と平和を成すべく活動している。
汚職が無くなった当局により、一級秩序転覆組織とされ、懸賞金がかけられている。

Captain of the 8th Battalion of the "Planetes Legion," a galactic fleet that opposes the order of the Milky Way Galaxy.
One of the "Intelligent Silicon Lifeforms" said to exist around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.
While wandering the universe searching for "his rightful place," he heard of the Galactic Fleet's exploits and thought, "This is where I belong," and joined the Legion.
However, the lifeforms in the Legion were carbon-based, and it was not a very good environment for a silicon-based lifeform like himself. Thanks to the efforts of the fleet commander, Milkilia, he obtained a battleship that was suitable for his body and where other carbon-based lifeforms could also live safely, and became the captain of the 8th Battalion of the Galactic Fleet.
However, he still experiences occasional physical discomfort, sometimes coughing and spitting blue blood in private before collapsing, and each time he ends up bedridden. Because of this, crew members who are unaware of the situation look down on him as "the lazy captain who is always sleeping." Therefore, he generally commands the military and holds strategy meetings in the fleet's command room.
