這個世界被分為三大塊，民風純樸、紀律良好的「古城」，科技發達、但危機四伏，而且沒有紀律的「新城」，以及終年被迷霧覆蓋，充滿神秘感的「奇點」。「古城」位於大陸的東方，這裡民風純樸，紀律良好，而且盛產農作物，是大陸上最重要的糧食供應地，這裡的建築大多都是用石板和磚瓦堆疊起來的，同時自然景點眾多，是渡假的好地方。「新城」則是位於大陸西方，這裡的科技發達，到處充斥著霓虹燈和全息投影的廣告，類似賽博朋克，在新城，錢就是權，底層的人們過著只能睡大街的日子，富人們卻是住在高樓大廈裡，享盡榮華富貴，在新城，命案的發生成為日常，連走在路上都有可能被槍殺或是搶劫，這裡充斥著改造自己肉體的人們，他們大多都是為了擁有更強大的力量來武裝自己不受到傷害才裝的。「奇點」則是被夾在新城與古城之間，這裡終年被迷霧覆蓋，到處都是危險的野獸和幽魂，甚至還常常有次元裂縫的產生，居住在這裡的人屈指可數，是一個完全不適合居住的地方，在這裡，危險的不只猛獸，還有住在裡面的人。
