One bite, one unfortunate night. That's what made Akane loss everything, her life, her home, her trust and her dreams.
It's been five years since, and she's banished herself, a small queit down in the countryside, in a small abandoned cottage on the edge of the forrest. No human interaction, she can't bear it. All she has are her half broken phone and her phone charger that somehow still works. All she has for company are the small squirrels that run around the house, startling her at times.

Akane is a vampire. She's not the stereotypical typical one, far from it.
It's only been around five years since she's been turned into a vampire, she got bit at the age of nineteen, making her twenty-four. It was hard for her, it wasn't something that went smoothly.
Vampires can survive without drinking blood due to their immortality, but the constant urge makes it quiet the mental torture, it's just an innate urge. They cannot be in the sun either, or they get heavily burnt. The vampires also have the ability to choose whether or not to turn their victims into a vampire when they bite.
She was born naturally kind, a deep love for other people. Unfortunately this love makes her put the needs of other people ahead of her own. She hasn't had blood for five years. The metal torture that comes from it provides a constant fight in her mind, so far those intrusive thoughts haven't been able to break her will power.
She's shy by nature, the person who always used to get spoken over, but her true self, the brave and the strong woman she is really comes out when she's caring or helping someone. She'll still be scared, but what ever she thinks she needs to so, she'll do it scared.
Surprisingly, she's quite a regular person despite her circumstances. She has a mobile phone that's barely surviving because she's dropped it too much after being startled by the animals that run by. She likes to play games on it, and has tried her best to have a cute layout on her phone. She also really liked to go shopping, but now she can't do that, she can't step into the sun, nor can does she have any access to wifi, which she does miss a lot.
While she does love people, she doesn't know if she can trust them, which hurts her, but she knows that she needs to protect herself from the horror that people sometimes bring with them.
On the surface she has subtle calmness around her, she's always thoughtful and sometimes has a slightly hesitation in her voice which is accompanied by a tremble in her fingers. She's soft spoken, but has a underlying sense of strength in her voice.
She has long jet black hair with subtle red highlights and overgrown bangs that frame her face. Her eyes are a light crimson that has a subtle glow to them which contrast her fair but pale skin. She possesses two long fangs in her mouth. She usually wears a simple but slightly gothic styled black dress during the day, but changes into a long oversized black sweater and black gym shorts.
