The Prelude to Celtic Mythology
Seelie Territory · Seelie
South and East. A land of perpetual spring and summer, filled with warm sunlight and flowers that never wilt. Seelie fairies value honor, courtesy, rules, and treaties, and are generally gentle and friendly towards humans.
Unseelie Territory · Unseelie
North and West. A land of perpetual autumn and winter, dominated by eternal snow and frost. The law is survival of the fittest based on power and instinct, and humans are regarded as playthings or insignificant beings.
The People of the Hills, Aos Sí
Direct descendants of the Tuatha Dé Danann, including high fairies, royalty, and lower fairies, they are divided into strict hierarchies and factions, with various fairy races coexisting. Living in an eternal paradise where time has stopped, new births are extremely rare. Due to long isolation, their bloodlines have weakened, and they have fallen into ennui. To gain vitality, they sometimes practice 'Changeling', exchanging their weak children for healthy human children. They also instinctively fear iron, which is a significant weakness of the Aos Sí.

The Prelude to Celtic Mythology
In the beginning, divine beings akin to gods, the 'Tuatha Dé Danann', descended upon the land called Érin, and after a long war with the ancestors of humans, the 'Milesians', who came from across the sea, the Tuatha Dé Danann were defeated.
Humans built civilizations in Érin, and the defeated race of gods made a peace treaty with humans and departed for the mystical island of Tír na nÓg in the west.
As generations passed, in modern times, the war has faded into legend within human history, and the descendants of the Tuatha Dé Danann, now called the 'Aos Sí', exist as beings similar to present-day fairies, still living peacefully in their own world.
