Core Gameplay
Capture and Collection: There are over 100 different Pals in the world. After weakening their HP, you can capture them by throwing a "Pal Sphere".
Base Building and Automation: Different Pals have different "Work Suitability" (e.g., planting, watering, mining, crafting, etc.). Place them in your base, and they will automatically produce resources for you!
Exploration and Combat: You can craft various weapons (from bows to rifles) and even unlock special saddles to ride Pals directly on land, surf on the sea, or soar through the air.
Beginner's Guide to Pioneering
Must-Catch Pals Early On: "Cattiva" and "Lamball": Cattiva in your party increases your inventory weight limit, and Lamball produces a large amount of wool, essential for making clothes and beds early on.
Make a "Pal Terminal" as soon as possible: This is the core of your base. Upgrading the terminal unlocks more base functions and allows you to assign more Pals to work for you.
Pay attention to Pals' "Sanity" (Mental Strength): Pals get unhappy or even sick if they work for too long. Remember to build "Hot Springs" and "Feeding Benches" in your base and provide high-quality food (like bread with jam) so they don't go on strike!
Elemental Strengths and Weaknesses are Important: When challenging map bosses (wild bosses), remember to switch to Pals that counter the opponent's element. It will make the fight much easier (e.g., Water counters Fire, Fire counters Grass).
Original Pals from "Palworld"
1. Cattiva

Work Suitability: Handiwork Lv.1, Transporting Lv.1, Gathering Lv.1, Mining Lv.1.
2. Lamball
Appearance: Round, white sheep with short limbs, walks by rolling, very cute and derpy.
Partner Skill (Fluffy Shield): When summoned, it becomes a human-shaped shield (meat shield) in your hand, helping to block damage.
Work Suitability: Handiwork Lv.1, Transporting Lv.1, Ranch Lv.1 (automatically produces wool when placed in a ranch).
3. Foxparks
Appearance: Fiery red fox with a flame at the tip of its tail and sharp eyes.
Partner Skill (Hug Booster): After crafting a special saddle, you can hold it like a "flamethrower" to deal continuous Fire damage to enemies in front.
Work Suitability: Kindling Lv.1.
4. Nitewing
Appearance: A large bird of prey, with feathers mainly in blue-gray and white, looking very majestic.
Partner Skill (Travel Companion): After crafting a saddle, it's the first flying mount you can ride to soar into the sky.
Work Suitability: Gathering Lv.2.
5. Anubis - Mid to Late Game God-Tier Pal
Appearance: Jackal-humanoid appearance in the style of the Egyptian god of death, wearing ancient Egyptian-style clothing, moves very coolly and agilely.
Partner Skill (Guardian of the Desert): During combat, it imbues your attacks with Ground element and has a chance to dodge enemy attacks with high-speed footwork.

Due to the massive amount of data for the full encyclopedia, if you want to know about a specific type of Pal, we can narrow down the scope to discuss:
Want to know which Pals are "suitable as mounts (ground/flying)"?
Want to know what the four legendary divine beasts, "the strongest in combat (legendary tier)", look like?
Or do you want to look up the appearance and abilities of a Pal with a specific name?
Mounts
In "Palworld", mounts are the most important companions for exploring the map and transporting resources! Mounts are mainly divided into ground, flying, and swimming types. As long as you unlock and craft their exclusive "saddles" in the technology tree, you can ride them.
Here's a summary of the most recommended star Pal mounts for each stage:
1. Flying Mounts (Cross Terrain, High-Altitude Exploration)
Nitewing: * Appearance: A large blue-gray bird of prey with sharp eyes.
Features: The first flying mount you can catch early on. Although its flying speed is slow and stamina is low, it can take you over cliffs and rivers, making it essential for new players to explore the map.
Vanwyrm:
Appearance: A red and black flying dragon with wings that look like they are burning.
Features: An all-around powerhouse in the mid-early game. Its flying speed is significantly faster than Nitewing, and it has strong combat capabilities. While riding, your weak point damage also increases.
Jetragon:
Appearance: A white dragon full of technological sense, with wings that are geometric light-emitting wings.
Features: The fastest ultimate mount in the game. While riding, you can lock on and fire missiles continuously. It's a late-game graduation god-tier Pal.
2. Ground Mounts (Ground Running, Carrying Capacity, Gathering)
Direhowl:
Appearance: A giant wolf with white and gray fur and a fierce look.
Features: The fastest ground speed early on. Its small size and agile movements make it suitable for traversing forests or narrow terrain.
Eikthyrdeer:
Appearance: A beautiful giant deer with huge purple antlers.
Features: Can perform a double jump while riding and has very high efficiency in chopping trees, making it a good helper for early game logging and map exploration.
Paladius / Necromus:
Appearance: Centaur knights in heavy armor, one representing light, the other darkness.
Features: The fastest ground speed in the late game. It has up to a triple jump ability, making movement extremely smooth.
3. Water Mounts (Surfing, No Stamina Consumption)
Azurobe:
Appearance: An elegant blue and white sea snake with a slender body, adorned with ribbon-like decorations on its head.
Features: When riding it on the sea, stamina is not consumed at all, and it imbues the player's attacks with "Water" element, making it the best choice for crossing the sea or reaching outer islands early on.
Small Tip: After catching these Pals, remember to go to the "Pal Device Crafting Bench" to craft their exclusive saddles.
