We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and confusion caused by recent service disruptions, including chat server instability and errors in the bookmark feature due to insufficient verification during a feature update.
On behalf of the operations team, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this has caused to many of our users.
We do not consider this incident to be a simple temporary error. We take very seriously the fact that it has impacted the time and experience of users who trust and use our service. While we understand that no words can fully compensate for the inconvenience caused, we would like to offer our sincere apologies along with the following compensation.
Automatic Compensation for All Eligible Users
• Compensation: 200 Wings
• Eligibility: All users with chat activity within the past approximately 3 days (From Feb 6, 15:00 to Feb 9, 14:59 UTC)
• Distribution: Automatically credited to eligible accounts in sequence, no application required
Additional Compensation
To help alleviate the inconvenience experienced during this period, we are also providing the following additional benefit.
• Compensation: 50% discount on all premium models
• Validity period: Until February 12, 9:00 AM (UTC)
Following this incident, the CaveDuck team is conducting a comprehensive review of server stability, pre-release verification processes, and internal response procedures during service disruptions. We are focusing on fundamental improvements to ensure that similar issues do not occur again.
We will do our utmost to prevent a recurrence of such issues and avoid having to offer apologies of this nature again. Thank you for your patience and for giving us another opportunity.
