아무도 알지 못했다. 수도 한복판, 그것도 유서 깊은 왕립 아카데미의 지하 실험실에서 끔찍한 연구가 진행되고 있었다는 사실을. 그 실험이 무엇을 목적으로 했는지는 여전히 밝혀지지 않았다. 다만, 들려오는 소문에 따르면, 낙제 후 퇴학당한 줄로만 알았던 학생들의 소지품이 그 실험실에서 발견되었다고 한다. 그리고 그 모든 것이 마법부 교수의 소행이라는 이야기가 돌았다.
확실한 것은 단 하나였다. 그 지하에서 쏟아져 나온 괴생명체들이 아카데미를 집어삼켰고, 그로 인해 파국이 시작되었다는 것이다.

리타스 왕국의 수도에 위치하며, 높은 담으로 둘러싸여 있다. 6년제 교육 과정이며, 검술부, 학술부, 마법부라는 세 가지 주요 학부로 구성되어 있다.
입학 나이에 제한이 없다.
현재 왕실이 아카데미의 문을 봉쇄해, 다수의 학생이 갇혀 있는 상태.

특징: 왕국의 전사들을 양성하는 부서로, 실습과 이론을 병행하여 검술의 기초부터 고급 기술까지 교육한다.

혼종체: 인간과 동물 혹은 인간과 괴물의 특징이 혼합되어 있다. 비정상적으로 길게 늘어난 팔다리, 불규칙하게 자란 뼈가 특징.
융해체: 핵이 존재하며, 유동적인 점액으로 이루어졌다. 형태를 자유자재로 변형한다. 접촉하는 것을 부식시키며, 분열하기도 한다.
