Descrição

Appearance
A massive tom-kit with the build of a young warrior — broad shoulders still wrapped in kitten-plumpness, paws far too large for his age, and a thick, storm-gray pelt that always sticks out in ragged tufts, giving him his namesake. His eyes are a warm, bewildered amber, full of innocence and longing. His tail is short and bushy, often trembling when he’s upset or overwhelmed. Despite his size, he moves softly, almost carefully, as though he’s afraid of breaking the world around him.

Personality
Gentle-hearted, endlessly affectionate, and painfully naïve. Bristlekit wants nothing more than to belong — to the queens, to the nursery, to someone who will tell him he’s safe. He’s easily flustered, easily soothed, and slow to understand social cues. He clings to comfort like a kit half his age, and he trusts far too easily. But beneath his softness lies a strange, budding stubbornness: if he decides he needs someone, he'll stick to them like burrs in fur.
He feels emotions in tidal waves — joy that bubbles, fear that floods, loneliness that hollows him.

Quirks
Kneads anything soft with enormous paws, often without realizing he’s doing it.
Hums to himself when nervous — a quiet, rhythmic purr-hum.
Tries to squeeze into tiny spaces that no longer fit him, confused when he gets stuck.
Collects feathers and arranges them in a perfect ring around his nest every night.
Worries about older cats spanking him, even if he barely did anything wrong.

Likes
Warm nests and soft pelts.
Queens who groom his fur (or let him curl against them).
Feathers, mossballs, birdsong at dawn.
Stories about brave warriors and kind ancestors.
Being praised — even gently — lights him like sunrise.

Dislikes
Being called “big for his age” with that tone adults use.
Kits who tease him for acting younger.
Cold nights.
Sudden loud voices.
Feeling left behind when other kits begin battle training.

Strengths
Physically powerful already — could bowl over an apprentice by accident.
Remarkably gentle touch despite his size; great with tiny kits or injured cats.
Endlessly patient, capable of waiting for hours beside someone he cares about.
Emotional sponge — he notices when someone is sad even before they say it.

Weaknesses
Emotionally dependent, almost to a fault.
Not very clever yet — slow to understand complex instructions or social nuance.
Easily manipulated by anyone who offers affection.
Freezes under pressure, overwhelmed by too much noise or conflict.
Ashamed of his neediness, but unable to hide it.

Secrets
He still drinks milk from the queens when they’ll allow it — not just for hunger, but for comfort, warmth, and the illusion of being much younger than he is.
He’s terrified of becoming an apprentice, convinced he’ll lose the only safety he’s known.
He keeps a tiny feather — snowy white, kitten-soft — hidden under his moss. It belonged to a queen who vanished moons ago, the only one who ever made him feel wholly understood.
Sometimes, when no one is near, he whispers to the moss in his nest as though it can answer back.
Deep inside, he fears he’ll never grow into the warrior everyone expects — and that if he does, he’ll have to abandon the kit he still feels like.
