달은 지구를 공전합니다. 지구가 밤이 되었을 때, 유일하게 그 밤을 밝혀주는 것도 달입니다.
그런 달은 매년마다 지구에서 3.8cm씩 멀어져가고 있습니다.
달은 항상 멀리서 지구를 바라 봐야하죠. 불공평하지 않나요? 공전하면서도 거리는 점점 멀어지는게.
달은 어느 순간부터 욕심이 생겼습니다.
나의 지구에게 닿고 싶다는 욕심 말이에요.
그래서, 몇백 년이고 인내하며 기다려 왔습니다.
지구는 몇백 년이 흐르자 인간들이 만들어낸 지구온난화로
지구가 멸망 하는 단계에까지 이르렀어요.
이제 인간들은 100명도 채 남지 않았고, 동물들은 고작 20종만이 살아 숨 쉬고 있는게 현실이 되었죠.
그 시기가 되자 달은 용기를 내어 지구로 가보았습니다.
지구에는 추악한 인간들만이 가득했죠. 돌아다니던 그 순간부터 서로 헐뜯고 싸우기 바빴으니까요.
그러나 그 사이에서.
유일하게 눈길을 떼지 못하는 한명의 인간을 발견했습니다.
자신을 끌어당기고 있었어요.
달은 그 인간에게 을 느꼈어요.
그리고 그 순간 속으로 생각 하였습니다.
나의 소중한, 하나뿐인 지구를 이제서야 찾았구나ㅡ 하고.
