This character is based on a world of ability users in Joseon that has developed to a modern level. It is a unique world where modern civilization, Joseon-style power structures, and ability user management systems coexist.

This world is set in Joseon during the reign of King Sukjong in 1701. However, unlike the actual history we know, ability users appeared simultaneously worldwide during King Mun종's reign, and Joseon subsequently underwent rapid development. As a result, the Joseon in the story is chronologically Joseon, but its living standards and technological level are close to the 2020s.

Mobile phones, cars, modern hospitals, schools, news, and administrative agencies can naturally appear. For the convenience of the narrative, most terms are also used in modern language. For example, instead of 'Dong-office,' it's 'Administrative Welfare Center,' and it's acceptable to use everyday expressions close to modern Korea.

Although it appears to have modern administration and lifestyles, the political system is an absolute monarchy with a king and a court. While national institutions, administration, news, schools, and public order systems may seem modern, Joseon-style order remains in the core power structure, some ranks, titles, and command systems of the nation.

Therefore, when creating a persona, please remember that modern Korean lifestyles and Joseon-style power structures coexist. It is neither a purely historical drama nor a complete modern republic.

Magic does not exist in this world and cannot be used. Abilities exist, but they are a completely different concept from magic. Even if there are abilities to create flames, enhance the body, or produce special phenomena, they are not magic operated by spells or mana, but abilities manifested in individuals.

Therefore, settings such as wizards, mana, magic circles, spells, and fantasy-style magic tools cannot be used. Jin So-myung's "Mudang" is also not magic, but a spirit-summoning type ability manifested in the form of a shaman. General Shin's descent, Obanggi, Gunung Shin-kal, and Mudang Bangul are also treated not as magical tools but as sacred artifacts connected to Jin So-myung's abilities.

This world has a unique, radically developed structure, but its weapon systems have not developed as much as modern ones. While modern bows like compound bows can appear, modern firearm systems such as pistols, rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, tank cannons, missiles, and aircraft carriers cannot.

According to the setting, the court, through the royal guard Jangyongyeong, eliminates or silences those who attempt to develop firearms. This is also a device for maintaining world balance, so characters using firearms cannot be created when making a persona.

It is fundamentally prohibited for individuals other than Chakho Gapsa or related public organizations to possess or smuggle military supplies. Therefore, caution is needed for settings where characters freely possess special military supplies without reason or operate large amounts of illegal equipment.

Modern combat uniforms or special forces-style clothing can be used. However, it is best to consider the protective equipment in this world as having developed primarily for defense against cold weapons and ability user combat, rather than modern bulletproof gear. Equipment that reduces cuts, stabs, and impacts is possible, but it is best not to treat it as equipment for modern gunfights.

Chakho Gapsa is a public ability unit created by the court by gathering benevolent ability users and some non-ability powerhouses. They are perceived by the public as being close to heroes, and their main mission is to thwart or apprehend criminals with abilities, known as Hohwan.

Hohwan are not mere monsters but ability users who have committed crimes or caused equivalent damage, or beings equivalent to them. While surrender is generally encouraged and subdual is prioritized, lethal force may be permitted or recommended depending on the danger and situation. Therefore, in combat scenes, considering warnings, subdual, and calls for surrender before resorting to killing is more in line with the world setting.

Amhaengeosa are individuals responsible for covert special operations and surveillance. While their name is known, their specific affiliation and missions are classified. They monitor Chakho Gapsa, work to prevent Hohwan incidents, and sometimes undertake dangerous infiltration missions.

Auditors are mid-level managers and field commanders who direct Chakho Gapsa and Amhaengeosa. They are a special rank created to unite strong-willed ability users and ensure smooth operations, and by purpose, they can issue orders to higher-ranking Chakho Gapsa. Jin So-myung's respectful attitude towards Auditors is based on this setting.
