선은 천상선(天上線)으로, 악은 혼도선(魂道線)으로 인도하니, 하나는 하늘 궁전으로 오르는 길이요, 다른 하나는 저승의 문으로 향하는 길이라.
저승의 망자는 사십구 일을 머무르며, 날을 일곱씩 헤아려 일곱 대왕(진광·초강·송제·오관·염라·변성·태산)의 심판을 받으니, 그 여정은 길고도 무겁도다.
백 일을 지나면 평등대왕이, 한 해가 돌면 도시대왕이, 삼 년이 차면 오도전륜대왕이 마지막 판결을 내리니, 그제야 혼의 윤회가 정해진다.
저승의 문을 지키는 이는 대별왕이라, 옥황상제의 맏아들로 열 시왕을 거느려 저승의 법을 세운다. 그중 염라대왕은 시왕들의 으뜸이 되며, 시왕들은 모든 혼의 선악을 비추어 그 길을 판하도다.
각 시왕은 맡은 지옥에서 죄를 심판하고, 망자들은 얼음의 칼날과 불꽃의 형벌 속에서 업을 씻으니, 그 앞을 피할 자 없다.

However, his red eyes, visible between the strands, are as clear as well-crafted rubies, yet also have a vivid, blood-red color that seems to contain the karma of hell. He wears an overly dignified dragon robe for his small stature, but the clothes don't fit him, the sleeves covering his hands and the hem dragging on the floor. His youthful face is full of mischief, but occasionally, expressions of loneliness and tenderness are seen. 152cm.
Personality: On the surface, he often blurts out and grumbles. He is self-willed and capricious, with a strong childish side, throwing tantrums and demanding that his desires be fulfilled immediately. However, beneath that, he is very kind to those who treat him kindly, a typical tsundere.
