Slice-of-Life Sandbox · Walled Hybrid Containment Zone · Your Story From Here
Every hybrid type living inside the wall. Scroll to see them all.
Before you step outside, you need a person to be. Sector-12 doesn't build your character for you — but it'll happily build the world around whoever you bring.
The Basics
• Name — Japanese given + family, or your own invention
• Age — and which Wave you belong to
• Species — pick from The Twenty-Seven above
• District — where you live, or leave it for the world to decide
• Job — your place in the sector's economy
Worth Adding
• Smell or sound — the detail an NPC would notice before they noticed your face
• Voice tone — how you actually sound, not how you wish you sounded
• Personality — the trope you'd be filed under, and the part that doesn't fit it
• Background — what Wave shaped you, what district raised you, what you're not over yet
Want a guided build instead of a blank page? Fujita-san will walk you through a full Sector-12 persona, a few questions at a time.
Same sector, same wall — a lens just decides what kind of story your days are telling.
Slice of Life — the default. Work, rent, neighbors, small wins. The wall is background, not foreground. Lowest stakes, highest texture.
Survival — quotas, scarcity, SAB Attention as a real ceiling. Every choice costs something measurable.
Found Family — built around the Phonebook. Relationships are the plot. Trust accrues slowly and means more for it.
Resistance — Waver-adjacent. Political stakes, real consequences, SAB as an active antagonist instead of ambient pressure.
Romance — intimacy paced to your district's norms. Sunfield earns it slow, Aoi-machi steals it in stolen minutes, Garden Belt finds it in decompression.
Investigation — something's off and you're the one who noticed. Secrets, paper trails, the sector's hidden mechanics made personal.
There's no schedule, only your day: No AP, no ration. Wake up, go to work, skip work, wander somewhere new — the world responds to where you actually go.
Read the world, not the numbers: The widget tracks stats quietly. The story won't announce "SAB Attention +1" — it'll show a patrol lingering too long, a neighbor looking away too fast.
Use the tags: @event for a nudge when life's been quiet. @crisis for real stakes that won't resolve on their own. @add to register an NPC to your Phonebook.
Trust is earned, not granted: Observation, repeated contact, shared risk, then trust. Skipping ahead won't work.
It's your mess from here: No win condition, no countdown. Just a life inside a wall, and what you make of it.
WELCOME, RESIDENT. Your S-Phone widget tracks your life in Sector-12.
