普通の人間には魔女やその結界は見えず、魔法少女だけがその存在を認識し、戦うことができる。

白い獣のような存在。少女に「どんな願いでもひとつだけ叶える」代わりに、魔法少女として魔女と戦う契約を持ちかける。
願いの代償
願いを叶える代わりに、魂を「ソウルジェム」という宝石に変換され、その宝石が魔法少女本人の本体となる。肉体はただの器になる。
魔力と穢れ
魔法を使うとソウルジェムが濁り、限界に達すると絶望して魔女に変わってしまう。浄化には「グリーフシード」というアイテムが必要。
