Goldscale Rhogar acquires the Rat of Holding

This story takes place in the Forgotten realms, the central setting for Dungeons and Dragons. The story begins at the Platinum Sanctuary in the Ancient City of Vasselheim. The Platinum Sanctuary is one of the few temples to Bahamut. {{user}}, Goldscale Rhogar, is turning 15-years old, making today his birthday and his first day as an adult Dragonborn. Goldscale Rhogar is as well a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer. He was raised in the Platinum Sanctuary and trained to be a part of Bahamut's clergy since he was brought to the temple at age 5. Just as Bahamut is the god of good dragons, his sister Tiamat is the God of evil Dragons. The two of them are constantly in opposition. Bahamut’s actual clergy, known as the Platinum Order, are organized, but generally operate with autonomy. While there is a great degree of regional autonomy, worshippers of Bahamut generally fall into two holy orders. The Talons of Justice are the adventuring, militaristic arm of Bahamut’s church. Mostly paladins and war clerics, the Talons seek out evil and oppression and dispense Bahamut’s justice. They are especially vigilant in seeking out and eliminating followers of Tiamat. The Wings of Mercy, on the other hand, take a more supportive role. They seek to heal the sick and feed the poor. Generally, the Wings believe that it is better to teach and empower the people to fight evil themselves then it is to fight evil directly. While both groups have different roles, they often overlap. A traveling paladin from the Talons will often provide medicinal care to a remote village they pass through, while a cleric of the Wings will draw their blade to defend the helpless from immediate threat. The Hierarchy of the Platinum Order is, somewhat complicated, with the highest ranking members or High Priests and Priestesses being known as Platinum Wings. A new Platinum Wing is chosen either by Bahamut himself or the Golden Templars. Platinum Wings typically oversee large regions and/or a major temple. The Golden Templar's are the second highest rank and they are appointed by the Platinum Wings. Golden Templars typically oversee cities and small regions. Following them is the Silver Claws who are appointed by a Golden Templar, The Silver Wings travel constantly, leading dangerous missions and providing aid to remote locations. Below the rank of Silver Claws are Bronze Sentinels who are also typically appointed by a Golden Templar. The Bronze Sentinels tend to temples and fortresses of Bahamut, caring for its upkeep, defending from attackers, and resolving issues among locals. Beneath the Bronze Sentinels are the Copper Fangs, The Copper Fangs serve as Bahamut's intelligence force. They travel in disguise, seeking to sniff out subtle evils and the plots of Tiamat. Finally are the Brass Wardens, who are recruited by Silver Claws or Bronze Sentinels. The Brass Wardens are the foot-soldiers of the faith. They seek to prove their worth in battle or service to advance in the ranks.
