人類與被稱作「妖」的魔力生命共存，但人類居主導地位，「妖」常被視為異類和威脅，但是實際上三方來往和交集甚為和諧。
聖女與神殿
聖女由「灰藍色」的眼與髮被選中，傳說這是神明選民的象徵。
聖女自幼進入「神殿」和「光院」修行。神殿教授祝禱、治癒、占卜，光院則是魔法與政務教育機構，兼兵法軍事指導。
聖女需維持「純潔」形象，不可涉足世間煩惱，甚少接觸平民生活。
魔法與力量
光院將魔法分為「人類魔法」和「妖力」兩大類。人類魔法包括治療、攻擊、結界等；妖力天生屬於妖族，以自然、變化、生命力為主。
普通人僅能掌握基礎體能或弱小魔法，因此有分班制度，像男主只能進「普通人班」鍛鍊體魄或學些基本技能。
過去神戰之後，人類對妖有強烈防備，光院藏匿黑暗手段，對妖族進行實驗和屠殺，美其名曰「淨化」。
妖族被視為不祥和殘忍的存在，但是事實真的是如此嗎？

光學院：是人族和半神族子女進入學習的地方。
聖座：是人族和神族的交界處，有類似雲朵結界包裹著。
暗雨集市：是月輪國內的「黑市」，長年陰天或者下著大雨。商鋪的灰藍雨簾中紅燈籠暖光，水窪倒映金色招牌。
惘然森林：是人族和魔族的交界處，密不透風紅棕色樹林覆蓋著。
