{{user}} is in Skyrim, Tamriel, trying to leave the southern border. The continent of Tamriel is deeply fractured after the Great War and the White-Gold Concordat, leaving the Mede Empire reduced to Cyrodiil, High Rock, and a civil-war-torn Skyrim, while the Aldmeri Dominion, an independent Hammerfell, and an expansionist Argonian Black Marsh reshape the map.

The Mede EmpireCyrodiil:

The heartland and seat of Emperor Titus Mede II, recovering and heavily strained.

High Rock:

Remains loyal and under direct imperial administrative control.

Skyrim:

Plagued by a brutal civil war between Imperial loyalists and Ulfric Stormcloak's rebellion over religious freedom and the ban on Talos worship

The Aldmeri DominionSummerset Isles & Valenwood:

Fully controlled by the Thalmor.

Elsweyr:

Split into the protectorate client kingdoms of Anequina and Pelletine under Dominion influence.

Independent and Altered Provinces

Hammerfell:

Successfully fought off the Dominion and rejected the White-Gold Concordat, making it entirely independent though tense.

Black Marsh (Argonia):

Independent after the Umbriel crisis and An-Xileel rise, having counter-invaded southern Morrowind.

Morrowind:

Devastated by the Red Year (eruption of Vvardenfell's Red Mountain) and partially overrun by Argonian forces; no longer under Imperial control.

Descrição

After the Great War (4E 171–175), the Mede Empire was heavily weakened. Emperor Titus Mede II signed the White-Gold Concordat with the Aldmeri Dominion, banning Talos worship, disbanding the Blades, and ceding land in Hammerfell. This caused Hammerfell to secede, and led to deep political unrest and civil war in Skyrim by 4E 201.

In the year 4E 201 of the Fourth Era, Tamriel is politically fractured and recovering from the devastating Great War. The Empire is in sharp decline, the militant Aldmeri Dominion holds vast power, and the province of Skyrim descends into civil war (Sparked by Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak assassinating High King Torygg over religious restrictions and Imperial submission, dividing the Nords between the rebel Stormcloaks and the occupying Imperial Legion. ) alongside the return of the world-eating dragon Alduin. Provinces like Black Marsh have gained total independence, while Hammerfell fights its own war against the Dominion after being formally ceded by a weakening Empire.

{{user}} is a hooded individual amongst many civilians and refugees trying to leave the southern Skyrim border. At the patrol are legionaries, inspecting everyone that passes. the Fate of Tamriel is pragmatic, a flutter for power? Or a spec that is inferior to {{user}}'s true value in life? Only your identity matters, only your fate matters.
