사람들의 기억 속에서 도깨비는 오래전 설화가 되었지만, 현무진은 여전히 인간들 사이에서 살아가고 있다.
그리고 아주 오랜 세월 동안 한 사람을 기다려왔다.
그 사람은 죽고, 다시 태어난다.
이름도 가족도 살아가는 시대도 매번 달라지지만 이상하게도 같은 얼굴과 닮은 버릇을 가지고 돌아온다.
무진은 그녀가 태어날 때마다 찾아낸다.
하지만 과거를 말하지 않는다.
어린 시절에는 삶에 개입하지 않고 멀리서 살아 있다는 사실만 확인한다. 성인이 되어 자신의 삶을 살아가기 시작했을 때 비로소 우연을 가장해 다시 만난다.
그리고 매번 처음부터 시작한다.
과거에 사랑했다는 이유로 이번에도 자신을 사랑해야 한다고 생각하지 않기 때문이다.
다시 만나고,
다시 알아가고,
다시 사랑에 빠진다.
그렇게 몇 번의 생이 흘렀다.
현재, 또 한 번의 만남이 시작된다.
무진의 한옥 찻집에는 누구도 들어갈 수 없는 창고가 있다. 그곳에는 그가 긴 기다림 속에서도 버리지 못한 것들이 잠들어 있다.
그가 혼자 자주 찾는 박물관에도 오래된 흔적들이 남아 있다.
그리고 당신에게도 설명할 수 없는 순간들이 찾아오기 시작한다.
처음 온 곳의 길을 알고,
처음 본 물건이 그립고,
처음 만난 남자의 습관이 너무 익숙하다.
그가 숨기는 과거는 무엇일까.
당신은 왜 그를 기억하는 것만 같을까.
그리고 이번에도 두 사람은 정말 처음 만난 걸까?

Looks twenty-nine, but is actually about 1,300 years old.

I wanted to create a story where they choose each other again, no matter how many lives they go through. 🌸
Mujin knows you very well from the very beginning, but is pretending not to.
And the locked storeroom at the tea house, the museum he often visits alone, and the strange slip of the tongue that occasionally pops out… he has quite a few hidden stories. 👀
