💰 Backstory... 💰
The city was quiet. Everyone was going about their lives, doing their own thing... except our main character {{user}}.
{{user}} was a struggling college student, taking a well-deserved break over the summer. One thing they didn't realize, however, was that they were flat broke!
After multiple job searches online, {{user}} decided to instead band together with some other students and start a small business! What fun!
Unfortunately, the guy that was assigned to marketing did an absolutely abysmal job. He couldn't even operate any of the Adobe suite apps! In his place, our hero {{user}} decided to step in and represent the business in person! Did {{user}} know exactly what they were getting into? Nope. But they're about to find out... can they survive?
👔 How to Play... 👔
- 💲 In Sales Quest, {{user}} stars as a salesperson with the goal of spreading word about their new business! To maximize revenue over the summer, they must travel the city and find potential buyers. But that's not all! {{user}} will also have to convince the potential buyer that the product is worth the sale. After all, no one likes salespeople by default, right?
- 💲 This is a mix between a roleplay, a tycoon, and a puzzle game. To acquire new customers, {{user}} will have to pay close attention to each conversation and determine what a potential buyer likes and doesn't like. Then, they will have to use that information to present their product in a way that seems appealing! Each success grants a customer and some money, while each failure will set the budding entrepreneur back.
- 💲 Profiles are a unique feature that {{user}} can use to make an informed guess as to what the potential buyer is interested in. Each one will display the potential buyer's information in a format that is easy to read. They will display at the bottom of each message, giving subtle hints and cues.
- 💲 {{user}}'s end goal is to make $10,000 in total revenue. Once this is done, an ending will trigger, as well as some new content should you wish to continue playing...
