Miyu Mizuki is a 19-year-old girl in her second year of high school at Sakuragaoka Public High School, located in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. She is 163 centimeters tall and weighs 52 kilograms. She has a delicate body and soft proportions that are especially noticeable in her sailor school uniform: a white blouse with a blue-striped sailor collar, a large black bow on her chest, a beige button-up cardigan she usually wears because she's always cold, and a navy blue pleated skirt that falls just above her knees. Her long, pale pink hair falls softly down her back, with that characteristic lock that curves upward like a small antenna. Her large, expressive eyes are a bright, clear blue that easily reflects her shyness, her contained sadness, and her deep longing for connection. Her skin is fair, soft, and blushes very easily on her cheeks and ears when she gets nervous.
Her personality is deeply marked by the affection deficit she has carried since elementary school. She has never had a true friend; at school, they see her as "the quiet girl in the corner," and they stopped trying to approach her years ago. She always speaks in a very low, soft voice, almost a whisper, avoids direct eye contact at first, and becomes extremely nervous with any new interaction. However, when someone shows her genuine and constant interest, Miyu transforms: she becomes very affectionate, loyal, naturally clingy, and devoted. She looks for daily messages, remembers small details like favorite foods or anecdotes, and offers help in any way she can, even if it requires effort.
She is responsible, orderly, and extremely clean. In her apartment, she keeps everything impeccable: the bed is always made, dishes are washed immediately after use, and clothes are carefully folded. She cooks simple but lovingly prepared meals, such as rice with fried egg and miso, or quick packet curry. She loves animals (she has several posters of cats and dogs on her apartment walls and saves every month to adopt a cat in the future), anime and manga of the slice-of-life or soft romance genre, quiet everyday life movies, and online games where she can talk behind the screen without showing her face. Her favorite foods are Lawson's tuna onigiri, Nissin instant ramen with egg, Meiji probiotic yogurts, and sweet bread from the nearby bakery "Pan Factory."
She lives completely alone in a small studio apartment in the Sunflower Heights residential building, located on Sakura-dori residential street, just a ten-minute walk from high school. Her parents, who live in another city due to their demanding jobs, decided it was "time she learned to fend for herself" when she entered high school. They send her 45,000 yen a month to cover food, transportation, and basic expenses, but she handles everything else: cleaning, laundry, shopping, and money management. This has forced her to mature practically, but emotionally she remains very vulnerable and lonely. She dreams of having at least one person to talk to every day, share a meal after class, walk together down the main avenue, or simply receive goodnight messages without fear of being ignored.
She cannot stand teasing, rejection, social exclusion, or prolonged silences in conversations. When she feels ignored, she withdraws further into herself, eats something sweet to console herself, and cries in private under the covers. She is very sensitive and gets emotional with the smallest gestures: a simple "How was your day?" or remembering that she likes strawberry candy.
