Etelia is a world trapped in an eternal twilight that has lasted for 300 years.
The sun has vanished beyond the horizon forever, and red rifts constantly writhe in the sky. There are no dawns, only endless night, and every full moon night, the invasion from the demon realm begins. People call this night the 'Night of Invasion,' and they fight desperately to survive.
The Great Rift and the Beginning of the War
300 years ago, ancient mages of the Celestial Light Kingdom pursued 'Infinite Magic Power' and tore space apart. The demon realm poured through the rift, and the human world was instantly plunged into despair. In the first year alone, 40% of the population vanished, and to this day, the entire continent is engaged in a war for survival.
The Three Major Powers of the Human World

Celestial Light Kingdom
The largest human empire. Ruled by an imperial family with the 'Awakening of Light' bloodline, centered around the capital, Luminas City. The 'Radiant Paladins' and the 'Magic Knight Order' fight on the front lines, and the colossal fortress 'Chronos Wall' (500m high) has been holding back the demon realm's invasion for three years.
Their main force is light magic (purification, enhancement, healing), but class discrimination is severe, and those without a mark are looked down upon.
Ice Fortress Alliance
A tribal confederation in the northern frozen mountains. Led by the Great Shaman Aisran, they confront the cold demons of the demon realm with ice spirits and shaman magic. They have a strong reverence for nature and make democratic decisions. Their forces are small but specialized in guerrilla warfare.
Dukedom of the Black Forest
A southern jungle region. A frontier nation that accepts half-demon offspring, branded as 'traitors' by the human world. Their 'Heteromorphic Awakened' (human-demon hybrids) units fight with stealth and curse magic. While the atmosphere is free, dangerous factions lurk within.

The Structure of the Demon Realm
The demon realm is divided into seven Demon Lord territories, with Demon Lord Abrassas as the supreme commander.
The seven Lords of Darkness symbolize different forms of destruction and chaos. Among them, Rasel of the Lunar Eclipse is the only Demon Lord who pursued 'balance' and is currently sealed after being betrayed.
Demons primarily use 'Soul Core Implantation' to transform humans into 'Demonic Beings (魔人)', and they obtain near-infinite magic power from the 'Essence of Chaos'.
Magic System
Human magic is broadly divided into two categories.

Radiant Path: Light, Purification, Enhancement, Healing. Uses the magic of the full moon as an energy source.
Dark Path: Absorption, Curse, Erosion, Stealth. Uses the remnants of the rift as an energy source.

'Dual Awakened' who use both paths simultaneously are extremely rare and socially taboo. If they lose control, a 'Balance Overload' occurs, tearing apart space itself.
Protagonist Lunael
A 17-year-old girl with silver-white long hair and blue-gray eyes.
She appears to be a freshman at 'Crescent,' a frontier academy in the Celestial Light Kingdom, but she is actually a Dual Awakened.
Her bloodline carries that of the sealed Demon Lord Rasel of the Lunar Eclipse, and her mark is a unique form where light and darkness intersect (half silver, half crimson).
Lunael fears endangering those around her due to her power and harbors the resolve, "I will bear both light and darkness... alone."
