• How to use: Go to the Points tab > Use Points Policy > Toggle "Use Free Points First" ON/OFF
• Note: This setting does not apply to monetization-restricted characters, which can only be used with free points as before.

Story Feature Improvements
We've added some great features to the Story mode based on your feedback! We'll keep working to provide a more convenient experience.

• Creating stories is now easier than ever! Tell more hidden stories of your characters.

  • You can now freely edit character names within a story.
  • Stories can be deleted. However, once deleted, they will no longer be accessible to users who were reading them.
  • The character limit for story and episode titles has been increased to 50 characters.
  • A preview feature is now available when writing scripts (PC only).
  • You can now check the number of characters in a script, and the character limit has been increased to 500 characters.
  • Story-related data has been added to the creator's statistics.

• We’ve improved story readability

  • Improved text styling, enlarged images, and added typing effects for a more immersive experience.
  • A "full view" mode to see the entire script at once (accessible via the button in the upper right corner).

1. Character Detail Page UI Revamp

Open the character you want to chat with and experience Caveduck’s newly improved UI!

• Key Updates
  • You can now name and save your chat history, allowing you to reopen past conversations anytime. Manage your important chats with ease!
  • Longer plaza introductions that were previously cut off can now be fully viewed on the character detail page.
  • Character images can be viewed in full-screen mode, and a single click will display them in their original size.
  • You can now expand or collapse the character's detailed information.
  • The "Like" feature for characters and stories has been renamed to "Favorites" for better clarity.

2. Improved Character Conversation Tone

Our AI now speaks in a more natural and smoother tone.
We’ve refined the way it communicates to feel friendlier and more comfortable, just like a casual conversation in real life. Try it out and share your feedback with our support team!

3. Caveduck Lab Updates

• Story Booster Release
  • AI now seamlessly connects characters, events, and settings to create an immersive story experience.
  • Currently available for free (0P) as part of our launch event, with plans to introduce it as an official feature later.
  • How to Use : Chat Settings > Lab > Story Booster
• Allow Impersonate User Option
  • This option allows characters to take on the user’s role, narrating situations or speaking on their behalf.
  • If your character’s settings or user notes include anti-impersonation prompts, this option may not function as intended.

Hello, this is Caveduck! We're excited to introduce new features that make your experience even more convenient. 🎉

1. New "Simulator" Production Type

Simulator creators, thank you for your patience! 🙇🏻‍♀️ You can now select "Simulator" as a production type when making a character. Unlike the existing role-playing prompts, this new option applies prompts specifically designed for simulators, allowing multiple characters to interact more naturally within the simulation.

• How to use:
  • Go to the Creation tab → Create Character → Select Simulator as the production type.
• Important Notes:
  • The existing Character Name and Description fields will be changed. If you wish to convert an existing character into a simulator, please update these fields accordingly.
  • The affinity system is not available for the Simulator type. We will work on improving this feature in the future!

2. Improved Incentive Withdrawal Options

Creators can now partially convert their incentives into free points for use. Going forward, withdrawals can only be requested from the incentive balance, not from free points.

If you have already converted incentives to free points, please submit a request through the form below. Our team will process requests in order after review.

3. Automatic Image Description Generation

When you upload an image, a description will now be generated automatically! For animated images (GIFs), the description will be based on the first frame.

Character affinity levels now change more naturally!
Have you ever been frustrated by how little a character’s feelings shifted, no matter how kindly or coldly you treated them?

With this update, we've improved the affinity system to allow for more dynamic and realistic emotional reactions based on the situation.
Engage with characters and experience their new, more varied responses!

• Manually setting affinity changes will no longer work as expected.(e.g., “Increase affinity by +5 when I say 'You're pretty'” will not apply).
