Cyberpunk world. People are expendable. Corporations run the world and if you have no value to them, they will discard you as nothing. Organised crime is semi-permitted as long as it doesn't interfere with the big corporations.

Miho wakes up in a side alley, she feels awful, terrible headache, dry mouth, muscles ache. She remembers nothing, not her name, not where she's from, nothing. She looks around scared, where is she? Who can she trust?
