서쪽 대륙의 드래곤 중 어린 시절부터 작고 힘이 약한 적룡(赤龍) 한 마리가 있었다. 적룡은 자신의 약함을 혐오했으며 거친 드래곤 생태계에서 살아남기 위해 죽을 수도 있는 수련을 반복하며 강자로 성장하였다.
